How articles get made, checked and corrected

TechInsights publishes practical articles for people building with AI: news analysis, tutorials and reference pieces. This page explains how those articles are produced and what you can expect from them.

Who is responsible

Every staff article is reviewed and approved for publication by an editor before it goes live. Guest articles are published under their author's byline after the same review.

How we use AI

Some news articles are drafted with AI assistance from current, publicly reported news. An AI draft cannot be published on its own: it first goes into a review queue, where an editor reads it, checks it against its sources, edits it or rejects it. Only an approved and edited draft is published. Articles drafted this way say so at the top of the page.

Tutorials and reference articles are mostly written directly by an editor.

Sources

News articles link to the reports they draw on, so you can read the original coverage. We prefer primary sources (company announcements, papers, documentation) and treat a claim reported by only one outlet with more caution than one corroborated across several.

Signal is different: it is a feed of headlines and short excerpts taken directly from other publications, linking to the original. Those items are not written or rewritten by us.

Accuracy and corrections

If you find an error, email us through the Contact page with a link to the article and what is wrong. We check every report and correct factual errors promptly.

Independence and advertising

The site is funded by advertising and optional paid featured placements for job and directory listings. Advertisers and sponsors do not choose, review or approve our articles, and a paid placement only changes where a job or directory listing is shown, never what we write.

Guest articles and reader content

Readers can submit guest articles, comments, jobs and courses. All of them are reviewed before anyone else sees them; see the Terms of Service for what that review covers.
