About

AI news and developer reference, for people who build with it

TechInsights.app exists for one kind of reader: someone actually building with AI — writing prompts, shipping agents, wiring up tools and MCP servers — not just following the headlines about it. Most AI coverage is written for a general audience. This site is written for the people doing the work.

What's on the site

Articles are practical, dated pieces on the actual craft — prompt engineering, agent design, model releases, infrastructure — organized by topic. Signal is a real-time feed of curated links pulled directly from a set of sources we track, deduplicated and corroborated across outlets, not written by us. Prompts is a searchable library of prompt patterns. Jobs and Courses are a small, moderated board for the same audience.

How the content gets made

Some articles are drafted with AI assistance from current, publicly-reported news, then reviewed and edited by a human before anything is published — an AI-assisted draft is never treated as finished on its own. Other articles are written directly by an editor. Signal's curated links are never rewritten — they're the headline and short excerpt straight from each source's own feed, linking out to the original. The Editorial Policy covers sources, AI use and corrections in detail.

Comments, job postings, course listings, and guest articles submitted by readers are reviewed before they're shown to anyone else. See the Terms of Service for the specifics of what that review covers.

How it's run

TechInsights is independently run, not a large-newsroom operation. Reading, bookmarking and submitting articles, jobs and courses are all free. Advertising funds the site, along with optional paid featured placements for job and directory listings.
